kainchi Dham Temple Uttarakhand

Kainchi Dham is one of the spiritually blessed destinations situated at an altitude of 1400 meters above the sea level on the Nainital Almora National Highway. The Ashram is 9 km from Nainital & 9 km from Bhowali.  Founded by the famous Maharaj Neem Karoli Baba in the year of 1962 the holy temple is surrounded by hills, trees, and rivers flowing beside it. This place came into existence in 1942 when Maharaj Neem Karoli Baba and poornanand of the kainchi Village propounded the idea of dedicating an Ashram to Sombari Maharaj and Sadhu Premi Baba who used to perform yagans in this place. The Ashram attracts thousands of International and Domestic travelers around the year. The Apple Co-Founder, Steve Jobs visited the temple in the year of 1974. Later Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg visited in the year of 2008 and 2015 respectively.  On 15 June of every year the devotee of Saint Neem Karoli baba celebrate the birthday and the foundation day of the ashram.
